Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ Said to Have Identical Thickness

The dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ have officially been revealed on the internet. According to reports, the Galaxy S10, which will have a 6.1-inch display, will be 148.9mm tall and 70.9mm wide; however, the 6.4-inch Galaxy S10+, which will have an even bigger display, might debut as a larger offering, with height and width measurements of 157.7mm and 74mm respectively. The latest revelation supports the earlier findings and confirms the inclusion of a triple back camera arrangement on the Galaxy S10+, which was previously reported.

  • PhoneArena has revealed the dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+, which is included in the list of recent advancements.
  • Both versions will have a 7.8mm thickness, but the Galaxy S10 will be taller and wider than the Galaxy S9.
  • PhoneArena reports that the Galaxy S10 will have a single selfie camera arrangement on the front and three cameras on the back, citing an anonymous source.
  • This is consistent with prior rumors, however it is not the same as what was first rumored, since the Galaxy S10+ was previously rumored to have a quad-camera configuration on the back.
  • Furthermore, the quad camera arrangement on the Galaxy S10+ may be able to support capabilities such as optical zoom, Live Focus, and Ultra-Wide portrait photography.
  • Samsung, on the other hand, might finally do away with the audio jack in the Galaxy Note 10.
  • Following the patent paperwork, which was published by the Netherlands site, Samsung is essentially developing a display technology that will be capable of showing three-dimensional pictures.
  • This combination of lenses will be used in conjunction with a spatial light modulator (SLM) to produce very accurate hologram patterns.
  • Photo courtesy of LetsGoDigital.com The Galaxy S10 is expected to be unveiled during Samsung’s Unpacked event in February, which will take place shortly before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Size Comparison Chart: All Models, All Sizes

Even in 2021, the Samsung Galaxy S10 continues to be a highly popular smartphone. Is there a significant physical difference between all of the Galaxy S10 model sizes, though? The Samsung Galaxy S10 series of smartphones is comprised of three models: the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e. The Samsung Galaxy S10, the Samsung Galaxy S10e, and the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus (or Galaxy S10+, as it is commonly referred as) are the three flagship devices from the company. In addition, each model has a varied size to it.

Everything you need to know about the sizes of Samsung’s Galaxy S10 models, from the largest to the tiniest, is contained inside this document.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Size Comparison Table

Clearly, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is the biggest phone in the Galaxy S10 family, as seen by its size. It boasts a 6.4-inch AMOLED display and is the greatest choice for people who watch a lot of video content on their phones. The Galaxy S10 Plus has a huge footprint as well, with measurements of 157.6 x 74.1 x 7.8 mm and a thickness of 7.8 mm. The Galaxy S10+ is also the most technologically sophisticated of the three phones in the Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup, with the most modern specifications, hardware, and camera modules.

As a direct competitor to Apple’s iPhone XS Max, it was priced approximately the same as the company’s flagship device at the time of its debut.

What is The Smallest Galaxy S10 Model?

The Samsung Galaxy S10e is the most compact of the Samsung Galaxy S10 models. Aside from that, the Galaxy S10e is one of the greatest little Android phones available on the market – small Android phones in general, and particularly good ones, are hard to come by. Many people were upset when Samsung did not update it in 2020 or 2021, as they had expected. In terms of size, the Galaxy S10e features a 5.8-inch OLED display and, because to its buttonless design, it is quite compact – around the same size as Apple’s iPhone 12 Mini (OK, it’s a little bigger than that phone, but not much).

How Much is The Samsung Galaxy S10 In 2021?

This model has been succeeded by the Samsung Galaxy S20 and, more recently, the Samsung Galaxy S21series of smartphones. This is excellent news for anybody planning to purchase a Galaxy S10 in 2021, as the devices are now significantly less expensive. How much less expensive is it? Well, if you go with Verizon, you can get a certified pre-owned Galaxy S10+ for just $414.99, which is a fantastic deal considering the specifications. If you want a smaller device, you can get the Galaxy S10e for as little as $24.99 per month if you choose for that option (over 24 months).

Once again, this is a fantastic deal for a fantastic phone.

They are therefore completely future-proof, and if you’re looking for a terrific value smartphone, the Galaxy S10 – or any of the variants – is impossible not to suggest in this situation.

Is The Galaxy S10 Still Worth Buying?

Even in 2021, I believe there is a compelling case to be made for purchasing any of Samsung’s Galaxy S10 smartphones. The primary attraction is the price, which has been drastically reduced on all of the phones. Buying an approved pre-owned model (which you shouldn’t hesitate to do because they are as excellent as new) will save you even more money, so it’s worth exploring your options. The Galaxy S10, which costs less than $400, is outstanding value for money. When you combine this with the fact that you have the option to purchase a 5G edition of both the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Plus, you’ll be well-prepared for the next several years in terms of technology.

I can easily see why so many people are still really interested in purchasing a Galaxy S10 in 2021, based on the information presented above.

Samsung S10 viewport size, resolution, PPI, screen specs and CSS media queries

The Samsung Galaxy S10 was introduced in February of this year. The Samsung Galaxy S10 is powered by Android 9.0 (Pie) and has a unified user interface.

Screen Dimensions

The Samsung Galaxy S10 has a screen size of 6.1 inches and a body ratio of 88.3 percent of the actual device size. The physical measurements of the Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone are 5.90 x 2.77 x 0.31 INCHES, or 5.90 x 0.31 CM ( 149.9 x 70.4 x 7.8 MM). The units are shown in the following order: “Height x Width x Thickness”

Screen Pixel Density and CSS Pixel Ratio

The term “pixel” refers to the smallest unit or element of any display. ‘Screen Density’ or ‘Pixel Density’ is the total number of pixels that can be squeezed into an inch of space, and it is measured in ‘Pixels Per Inch.’ Pixel Density has a limit on the number of pixels that may be displayed per inch, which varies depending on the screen size. When the number of pixels per inch exceeds the screen-size limit, the display resolution will increase, but the actual device width and height in pixels will remain the same, as will the display resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 has a resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels and a density of 550 pixels.

Screen Resolution and Viewport

The “Screen Resolution” of a device refers to the total number of pixels that are displayed on the screen. The “Viewport” of any device is defined as the total of all of the actual pixels on the device. The Samsung Galaxy S10 has a 6.1-inch physical screen with a resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels and a pixel density of roughly 550 pixels per inch (PPI).

The Samsung Galaxy S10 features a viewport with a resolution of 360 x 760 pixels and a pixel ratio of around 4. You may learn more about screen real sizes, viewport widths, display resolution, and density by visiting this page.

Samsung Galaxy S10, S10e, S10+ & S10 5G Comparison Part 2

Wish to have some of the S10’s features but not the expensive price tag? Look no farther than the Honor View 20. The S10e is the right choice for you in that case. Screen Dimensions: Starting with the smallest, the S10e has a diagonal measurement of 5.8 inches. Despite the fact that it is the smallest of the four S10 phones, it is likely the easiest to hold when texting with one hand and is noticeably lighter in the pocket. AMOLED Infinity-O Displays: All four S10 smartphones are equipped with Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Displays, which provide some of the deepest blacks and most vibrant colors possible on a smartphone display.

  • The S10e is the only one equipped with a glass display with a flat surface.
  • Images stay sharp and detailed, regardless of whether you’re on a soccer field in the middle of summer or re-watching the final season of a popular fantasy television program in the middle of the night.
  • However, a capacitive fingerprint sensor has been integrated into the power button, which is located on the right side of the phone.
  • Construction: The Samsung S10e is made of lightweight aluminum with Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and rear panels, which makes it resistant to mild drops, dents, and scratches.
  • Photographic capabilities: For selfie enthusiasts, each S10 phone is equipped with a 10 megapixel (MP) camera with live focus and dual pixel autofocus (AF).
  • The S10e comes with a dual-lens back camera.
  • Other features of the camera include an 8x digital zoom and a 0.5x optical zoom, among others.
  • It is available in two different memory and storage configurations: one with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, and another with 8 GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
  • 3100 mAh is a respectable amount of battery life, especially considering that this is a very intelligent battery.

However, what does 3100 mAh imply to you is another question. Up to 11 days of standby time and up to 33.93 hours of talk time are possible with this device. 2 When you combine that with a smart battery, you’ll be able to enjoy worry-free operation.

Samsung Galaxy S10

There is nothing standard about the Samsung Galaxy S10. It is anything but standard. It’s the flagship device in the Samsung S10 series for a reason, and it’s packed with features that distinguish it from the other devices in the line. If you’re searching for a phone that’s filled with features but isn’t too heavy to carry around, this may be the device for you. Screen Size: The S10’s screen is just ideal, Goldilocks-style, since it is neither too big nor too little. With a typical screen size of 6.1 inches and a curved display, it gives the highest possible screen-to-phone ratio at the perfect size for most people.

  1. The S10, in contrast to the S10e, sports a curved display that is borderless.
  2. This is the first model in the range to include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which is included on the S10.
  3. Construction: The S10’s body is made of sturdy aluminum and has glass panels on both the front and rear sides.
  4. According to Corning, Gorilla Glass 6 is “the most durable cover glass currently available for consumer mobile devices.” It also has a 3.5 mm headphone port, much like the S10e, so you won’t have any problems using your Galaxy Buds if you haven’t gotten around to ordering them yet.
  5. There is also a secondary 12 MP wide-angle camera with variable aperture, as well as a 16 MP ultra-wide camera, to catch those long-distance photos.
  6. All of the other fantastic picture capabilities, such as camera modes for food, professional photos, and portraits, as well as intelligence tools for scene optimization and shot suggestions, are now included.
  7. The front camera comes equipped with autofocus and live focus as standard, allowing you to take selfies that are worthy of a professional.
  8. However, if you’re someone who likes to shoot a lot of photographs, the 8 GB / 512 GB model would be a good option for you.
  9. 1 Battery life (in hours): A 3400mAh battery sounds fantastic, but what exactly does that imply in practice?

It implies that you are less likely to experience power outages on your next road trip or run out of battery power in the middle of the day at work. With up to 35.83 hours of usage time and up to 13 days of standby time, the S10 gives you the power you need to get through the day. 2

Samsung Galaxy S10+

With the S10+, the bar has been increased significantly. In addition to a beefed-up display, long-lasting battery life, and a high-quality camera system, the Galaxy S10 is distinguished by a number of unique features that set it apart from the competition. The S10+ has a screen that measures a massive 6.4 inches diagonally, which puts it right in the middle of the pack. When you combine the virtually edgeless curved display with one of the biggest displays available, you won’t be afraid to use your phone to watch the next binge-worthy program.

  • The S10+ boasts a pixel density of 522 pixels per inch and a punch-out for a dual camera on the front display.
  • A curved, bezel-less screen allows you to make use of virtually all of the 6.4 inches available for viewing pleasure.
  • Construction:Lightweight metal frames are combined with front and rear Gorilla Glass panels to provide a sturdy construction that can withstand everyday use and abuse.
  • On this plus-sized variant, you may still use your headphones with the 3.5 mm headphone connector.
  • The camera is where the S10+ truly begins to distinguish itself from the rest of the Galaxy lineup.
  • The three rear-facing cameras, each with an LED flash, are arranged horizontally across the back of the device.
  • A telephoto camera with 12 MP and optical image stabilization (OIS).

Aside from that, this monster phone is also equipped with two front-facing cameras.

And the second front-facing camera is an 8 MP depth camera, which is ideal for creating artisticbokeh effects with the phone’s camera.

The device comes in a variety of types, so make sure to get one that fulfills all of your photo-hoarding, game-playing, app-addicted requirements.

If that isn’t enough, you can upgrade to one of the ceramic variants, which will give you 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage space.

the braggadocious model), which includes 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage for those who only want the best!

A larger phone also implies a battery that will last longer on a single charge.

The intelligent battery ensures that you have the power you require when you require it by learning about your behaviors and changing accordingly to meet your needs.

There are significant variations between the S10s, despite the fact that they all have many of the same features.

You can’t go wrong with any of the S10 models, whether it’s the budget-friendly S10e, the standard-but-dependable S10, or the larger and more powerful S10+.

Amazon.com: Samsung Galaxy S10 Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone

On June 14, 2019, a verified purchase was reviewed in the United States of America. This phone is equipped with Exynos, not Snapdragon. Due to the fact that it is an international version, it will not operate with my Straighttalk SIM card. First and foremost, it does not connect to my mobile data; I had to enter an Access Point Name in order for the data to function properly. Second, until the “wifi calling” feature is enabled, the calls will not be received. Aside from that, even when the phone is turned on, the calls hang up at odd times, sometimes without even ringing, and 70% of the time I try to contact someone, a box appears that reads “Not registered on network.” I’m also unable to send images AT ALL, and my messages are failing to transmit on a sporadic basis.

What a coincidence!.

This was the worst $800 buy I’ve ever made.

Although she did state that if there was any indication of water damage, the guarantee would be voided (we live in A VERY humid climate: great).

On April 21, 2019, a verified purchase was reviewed in the United States of America.

My prior phone was a Samsung S5, so that’s what I’m using as a benchmark.

My phone serves as a workhorse for me.

Fingerprint – only works 50% of the time, and you must push really firmly.

Because to the curvature of the S10’s glass border, I was constantly mistaking it for a physical touch on the screen.

Telephoto – When I went back over my last two years of images, I noticed that I had very few portrait shots, so I decided not to use telephoto.

What’s the sense of covering it if you have to do so for protection?

The same goes for colors, which are covered by the case.

And it goes all the way to the edge of the smartphone (no borders).

The side keys are located at the top of the device.

Using WiFi to make calls is not possible on this unlocked model.

Performance.

The North American version is equipped with the most recent Qualcomm 855 processor.

I’m thinking on swapping this out for the s10e version at this point.

Purchase that has been verified I bought the prismatic black, but instead received a flat black, which makes me feel taken advantage of.

It is a significant advance over the GS7, which I previously had and used with great pleasure and satisfaction.

Although the fingerprint unlock isn’t flawless, it is a significant advance over the previous system.

Things I don’t like: when the screen is turned off, it’s difficult to distinguish between the top and bottom of the screen.

I don’t like that notifications don’t simply appear on the top bar; they also appear in tiny over whatever other screen I’m currently seeing – whether it’s an article I’m reading or a game I’m playing.

The thing I despise the most: frikken Bixby!

You know that wonderful and really cool voice control that you can use to decline a call?

What a lovely gesture.

Those responsible for making the judgment should be dismissed.

As a result, it is more efficient to just reach over and press the button.

I would have purchased a GS9 if I had wanted to keep this feature.

I hope they take this into consideration and correct it in a future release. Then this stuff is going to be fantastic!

Samsung Galaxy S10 review

The Galaxy S10 is a suitable 10th anniversary phone for Samsung and its illustrious S series, and it represents a significant step forward for the company. A novel-looking Infinity-O screen that is so enormous that it completely replaces the front camera, as well as a triple-lens back camera that can capture ultra-wide photographs, make it a game changer. Your fingerprint sensor will be integrated into the screen, and its Wireless PowerShare feature will be useful for your friends as well as you.

That’s a lot of money – but keep in mind that it comes at a considerable cost, and that the Galaxy S10e and S10 Plus are superior alternatives on both sides of the coin.

Pros

  • +Extremely high screen-to-body ratio
  • +in-screen fingerprint sensor
  • +Wireless PowerShare feature
  • +large battery capacity

Cons

  • Plus, it has a high screen-to-body ratio, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and a wireless PowerShare feature.

When it comes to smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S10 is created and designed to be a conversation starter, a device that is crafted to convert everyone’s yearly query of “Do I really need to update?” into an exclamatory “I definitely need to upgrade!” Even after being superseded by theSamsung Galaxy S20 and the latestSamsung Galaxy S21, both of which have 5G capabilities, better cameras, and quicker speeds than ever, the S10 remains a strong and beautiful phone.

  1. If you don’t want the very latest and best, the two-year-old flagship is still a fantastic gadget with specifications and cameras that are still competitive in today’s marketplace.
  2. There’s also a cheap phone in the series, theSamsung Galaxy S10 Lite, which has a big 6.7-inch screen and even more cameras than the S10e, as well as a few advancements over its predecessor.
  3. The Samsung Galaxy S10’s 6.1-inch Infinity Display was a standout feature when it was first introduced.
  4. Bezels are virtually non-existent in this environment.
  5. Each and every one of the necessary sensors is discreetly stowed away under this brilliant and dazzling Super AMOLED display.
  6. You won’t find a fingerprint pad on the back of the phone any longer, nor will you find one anyplace else on the phone.
  7. Image courtesy of TechRadar.
  8. Every aspect of the phone’s design is focused on reaching the phone’s outstanding 93.1 percent screen to body ratio on the front.
  9. So far, only the selfie camera on smartphones such as the OnePlus 7 has provided a cleaner-looking option on a curved display that is quite comparable to the OnePlus 6.
  10. The triple-lens camera on the back of the Samsung S10 is similarly based on the concept of maximization.

Samsung’s camera array includes lenses for taking regular, telephoto, and ultra-wide images, among other things. The ultra-wide camera is designed to allow you to capture more of what’s in front of you without having to move your camera back.

Sure, LG phones, such as the LG V40, have promised ultra-wide camera lenses for years, but Samsung’s cameras have shown to be more consistent in low-light circumstances than LG phones. Finally, the functionality is available in a flagship-level phone that you desire. The Samsung S10 also contains features that are accessible to everyone. In addition, the S10’s Wireless PowerShare feature allows you to use the back of the device to Qi charge another phone or the new Galaxy Buds, a feature that is similar to the reverse wireless charging feature found in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, which is not widely available in all markets, including the US.

And it is, in fact, what Samsung excels at.

What’s not to enjoy about this?

If you’re looking at the S10 to save money or because you want a smaller screen, the 5.8-inch S10e is the better value for your money.

Samsung Galaxy S10 release date and price

Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Weight:157g The following are the dimensions: 144.9 x 70.4 x 7.8mm Android 9 (Operating System) Screen resolution: 6.1 inches Resolution:QHD+ CPU: An octa-core processor with a chipset RAM:8GB Storage:128/512GB Battery:3,400mAh Cameras on the back: 16MP + 12MP + 12MP Front-facing camera: 10 Megapixels The Samsung Galaxy S10 was introduced on February 20 and went on sale the next day in certain regions, with pre-orders beginning immediately in others.

  • The release date was set for Friday, March 8.
  • The price of the S10 has been reduced as a result of the introduction of its replacement.
  • TheSamsungS10 launch price was high, much higher than that of theGalaxy S9, but it represents a significant improvement over theiPhone XS, which was more costly and has a smaller 5.8-inch screen.
  • The Samsung Galaxy S10 is now available for purchase for $749 / £669 / AU.
  • If you enjoy the design of this phone but think the pricing is a little exorbitant, keep in mind that Apple costs $100 / £200 / AU$430 more for the smaller 5.8-inch iPhone XS with half the internal capacity, 64GB, as it does for this phone.

You may sometimes find the Galaxy S10 for as little as half the price of its initial launch price during specific time-sensitive specials and offers, but these reductions are far from guaranteed, since they are typically difficult to come by.

Display

According to Samsung brand manager Paul Guzek, “our competitors are even utilizing them” since the company’s displays are so brilliant. This is an apparent dig at Apple, but it’s worth noting anyway. It’s difficult to argue with this statement. For starters, the Samsung S10’s 6.1-inch 19:9 Super AMOLED display panel looks better than anything else on the market from any other manufacturer, and it has been dubbed the best color accurate smartphone display on the market. In addition to having gracefully curved borders with pixels that flow over the sides, it boasts increased brightness for greater outdoor visibility, as well as HDR10+ compatibility for enhanced contrast and color reproduction.

  • Although it defaults to Full HD+, which looks just as excellent on a phone this tiny, you’re unlikely to notice any difference unless you’re using it for virtual reality two inches away from your face, which you probably won’t.
  • The Honor View 20 is the first smartphone to successfully avoid a notch cut-out at the top of the screen by embedding the front-facing camera in a laser-cut hole in the top-right corner of the screen.
  • So far, based on our experience with the Samsung S10, we’d say less.
  • The larger 6.1-inch display provides Samsung with more screen real estate than ever before, so don’t let the larger screen size put you off buying one of these devices!
  • The S10’s measurements are 149.9 x 70.4 x 7.8mm (and it weighs 157g).
  • The S10 Plus has a 6.4-inch screen with the same screen-to-body ratio as the S10, which is a fantastic size provided you can manage the larger screen.
  • Even though we stated that the bezel was not large, it did delineate the top and bottom of the display.
  • Furthermore, the fact that the bottom bezel is bigger than the top bezel attracts our attention — it may be even more distracting than the punch-hole.

There’s not much to hate about the new display — as long as the Infinity-O doesn’t distract you from your daily activities. As previously said, we’ll update this review after we’ve had more hands-on time with the S10.

Design

The remainder of the Samsung Galaxy S10 design isn’t going to take you by surprise, however there are a few significant advancements, two hidden surprises, and one old classic to look out for. Flamingo Pink, Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism White, Canary Yellow, and Prism Green are some of the colors available for the back of this table. Its thinner aluminum frame is sandwiched between smooth glass, with the back available in your choice of color: Flamingo Pink, Prism Black, Prism Blue, Prism White.

In a world full with camera bumps and rear-fingerprint sensors, it’s a refreshingly uncluttered design.

Immediately after placing our Galaxy Buds case on the lower portion of the S10’s back, the earphones began charging nearly instantaneously.

Wireless PowerShare can be useful in two situations, according to Samsung: charging a friend’s phone and charging your Galaxy Buds at night, thereby turning your plugged-in S10 into a mobile Qi charger pad.

The Samsung Galaxy S10’s size, on the other hand, is maybe its most appealing feature.

As a result, if you are prone to mishaps, we recommend using a protective case, even if it is simply a thin silicon one.

The fingerprint sensor is again inconspicuous, but this time it is located on the front of the device.

Because of this, switching to the rear of Samsung phones felt strange – but it has returned to the front of the S10, this time nestled behind the glass.

Samsung employs Qualcomm-backed technology that is believed to be better and more secure than optical scanners since it creates a 3D scan of your print.

Despite the fact that it takes less than a second to read, register, and unlock the S10, it lacks the speed of scanners that are not incorporated in the display.

In order for this method to function, you must be exact with your finger placement and apply a small amount of pressure.

A welcome classic that hasn’t changed since the introduction of the original S phone a decade ago: the 3.5mm headphone port, which is still present.
