One of the world’s major makers of electronic products is Samsung, a South Korean firm based in South Korea. In addition to consumer and industrial electronics, Samsung manufactures a wide range of semiconductors, memory chips, and integrated systems, as well as appliances, digital media devices, semiconductors, and memory chips. Samsung’s Beginnings

According to company legend, one of Samsung’s first mobile phones did not work when it came out in 1995. When Samsung’s chairman Kun-Hee Lee found out, he visited the factory where the phones were made and reportedly had the entire inventory burned.


After that initial slip up, Samsung began taking mobile more seriously by the late 1990s. It released one of its first Internet-ready phones in 1999. Mobile would eventually grow into Samsung’s most profitable business.

Samsung Galaxy S

The Samsung Galaxy S, which was first announced in June 2010, operated on Android 2.1 and had an 800 x 480 Super AMOLED display. A single-core 1GHz CPU and 0.5GB of RAM completed the package. The back camera had a resolution of 5 megapixels, but the front camera had a resolution of just 0.3 megapixels. The fact that Android could be customized was one of the things that truly struck out about it. Samsung Galaxy S II

It was known as the Samsung Galaxy S II when it was introduced in April 2011 and had a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, which was the same as that of its predecessor. The processor was upgraded to a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 0.75GB of RAM, and the memory was increased to 1GB. This time around, the back camera has 8 megapixels, with a front-facing camera with 2 megapixels. Samsung Galaxy S III

Samsung Galaxy S4

The Galaxy S4 was released in April 2013 and was the first Galaxy phone to do away with Roman numerals, which were never used when referring to Galaxy phones in the first place. It boasted a 5-inch Full HD display and was the first Galaxy phone to do so. It also increased the processing capability to a 1.9GHz quad-core CPU with 2GB of RAM, bringing the total to 1.9GHz.

The back camera has also seen an increase in resolution, now boasting 13 megapixels. The design sense that we’d developed with the S3 really showed through here: the Galaxy S4 was a fantastic phone that just looked and felt perfect in our hands.

Samsung Galaxy S5

The S5, which was released in April 2014, had a Full HD screen as well, although it was somewhat larger, measuring 5.1 inches (an LTE-A model eventually upped that to 2560 x 1440). A quad-core CPU running at 2.5GHz and 2GB of RAM were installed on the board. The back camera was also upgraded once more, this time to a 16-megapixel configuration. The Galaxy S5’s most fascinating feature, though, was the texture on the back of the device, which looked like a sticking plaster. At the time, Samsung was still employing detachable plastic backs on their devices.

Samsung Galaxy S6

The Galaxy S range, introduced in April 2015, was the first to provide two distinct smartphones at the same time. 5.1-inch flat Quad HD Super AMOLED display on the Galaxy S6, while Samsung embraced curved edges with the Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, which were released later in the year. SH-100 – the beginning.

Okay, so this isn’t the beginning of the story. The history of Samsung begins with its founding in 1938, when the company was established. In addition, their electronics branch has been in operation since 1969. The SGH-100, on the other hand, has the distinction of being the world’s very first mobile phone, having been introduced in Korea in 1988.

SGH-600 – Entering Europe.

Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy phones were first launched on this day, 29 June

The phone is being reinvented today, according to Steve Jobs, speaking at MacWorld in San Francisco. The 9th of January, 2007. On June 29, 2007, the original iPhone went on sale to the general public in the United States, six months after Jobs made this statement. Two years later, on the same day, Samsung unveiled their first Galaxy phone, which was the world’s first device to use Google’s brand new Android operating system, which was released in 2009.
